    The unit was exactly as described. The 2 bedrooms were spacious enough and clean with new carpets. The main living area and kitchen has new laminate flooring. The kitchen has been updated and although we only used the Kettle it seemed to be well set up. The bathroom is old but clean. The furniture is old in the bedrooms but again clean. Only a short walk to the beach turning left or right. The surf club and bowls club are a short walk and only 15 minutes walk into the town. Great location. It is on the main road into town but not heaps of passing traffic but if a light sleeper it might bother you. No airconditioning and only 1 fan but we didn't need it in September. Something to think about if going in a warmer month. Good communication from the rental agents and friendly staff when I went onto the office.

    Fell in love with a very clean and comfortable unit. Being so close to the beach and shops was amazing and yet we felt a million miles away. However, we needed to travel to Ballina to purchase a pedestal fan as it was quite hot and humid, as it often is at Evans because the only fan in the unit was rusty and utterly useless. We wouldn't have been able to sleep without it. I would strongly suggest the owner either put in ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living area and or air conditioners for just the bedrooms. We paid quiet a bit for this unit and were very disappointed. It really makes it difficult to sleep at nights, especially when it's humid. Can be very off putting and would look at other places instead because of this issue.
