Welcome to The Sails, Evans Head. Looking for luxury accommodation in an ideal location near the beach, then you've just found it! This 5 bedroom townhouse has an atmosphere of quality throughout the whole complex. Outside is a lovely tropical pool area, and the third story has a lovely deck with panoramic views over the town and to the ocean. Just 250m from main beach, 200m to the Bowling Club and 800m to the main street.

- Updated lounge room boasting two couches, one of these being a corner couch to provide plenty of comfort while watching the flat screen TV

Evans Head is well known for our relaxed lifestyle with long unspoiled beaches, an abundance of fishing spots as well as deep sea fishing on its doorstep, a river estuary that provides a safe spot for children to swim and beaches for everyone and not forgetting the legendary surf break!

Evans Head has fantastic public BBQ areas, gazebos and sheltered areas scattered across our beautiful town. There is a cycle track stretching from Airforce Beach to Shark Bay, walking track up to lookout, 4WD beach access to Airforce Beach, 25m undercover heated pool, gym, restaurants, cafes, Bowling Club, Pub, RSL, Clothes shops, Surf shops, Chemist, Butchers, Bakers, Supermarkets and more.

    The property was very clean and close to the town. But there was some rust stains in the pool and a leaking toilet, otherwise we had a very comfortable stay.

    On the positive side - great location, very roomy, clean
    A couple of negatives - we were given a voucher for a gas bottle swap in case the gas ran out for the BBQ . Yep, the gas ran out mid way through cooking breakfast on a very wet Fathers Day breakfast Sunday morning. No worries, there were 2 other gas bottles. You guessed it - they were empty too. I feel like this should have been checked prior to our arrival.
    The agency gave us one toilet roll and a hotel style size shampoo and conditioner, knowing very well we had booked for 5 adults and one child. Off to the local IGA for more toot paper!

    This unit was very spacious, clean and good location.
    the kitchen had everything you would need and all linen was supplied. also a good sized garage to fit 2 cars.

    Very comfortable townhouse with convenient access to beach and town. The recent upgrades with new bedding and furniture have made the property even more comfortable and attractive. Loved the new queen beds in two of the bedrooms. The weather was not so good for lying on the beach so we found some interesting bushwalks along the coast and saw wallabies, lots of birds, lizards and a snake. Some of the party went fishing and caught whiting and bream in the river. It is also good to bring a couple of bikes as most of the town is flat and you can explore without a car.

    Sails is a spacious apartment with lovely large robes and a good open plan living area. Handy location as very close to Main Beach and the Bowlo. Double auto garage with internal access very handy and the complex is secure.
    The rooftop could be great but badly in need of new furniture and a sun lounger would be a nice addition. A litte dated inside and the ensuite is quite small particularly considering how spacious the apartment is. There are lots of stairs so wouldn't suit elderley or small children. I felt that a 6 seater dining setting and outdoor furniture is inadequate for a property that sleeps 10. Traffic from cars/vans going into and out of town is a bit noisy but just in the mornings. Having a clothes dryer a bonus particularly in wet weather. Also has a dishwasher. Overall though it is nice spacious apartment in a great location with a pool.
